Driving School in Widnes & Runcorn

The Farm School of Motoring was established in 1985 to provide driving lessons in Widnes. Our driving instructors were soon providing driving lessons in Runcorn and all the surrounding areas.

I became a driving instructor (ADI) in 1984, after passing my test on a motorbike, in a car, and in a double decker bus!

I enjoyed driving so much that I wanted to pass the whole experience on to other people and what better a way than to teach people to drive at my driving school in Widnes?

Over 30 years later, I am a grade 6 instructor (top grade) and we have a team of 4 at The Farm School of Motoring. We have lesson availability to suit most people and work hard to try to get you through your test first time.

I am committed to road safety and have worked with the Halton Road Safety team on a project called "Megga Drive" to try to educate young people on the dangers of driving recklessly, using mobile phones etc. The Police, Fire Service, DSA and Highways Agency were also involved.
